At Resilience 2014, May 4-8, Montpellier
Lucy Rodina is currently attending Resilience 2014 in Montpellier, France. Resilience 2014 is an international multi- and inter-disciplinary conference, organized by the “French node” of the Resilience Alliance network (CIRAD – CNRS – IRSTEA- INRA), Agropolis International and their partners of the campus of Montpellier. Building on the first two conferences (in Stockholm & in Phoenix), Resilience 2014 is a forum for “exchanges and discussions articulating concepts & practices of adaptation, transformation and development”. The conference showcases a side variety of perspectives and approaches to defining, measuring, challenging and re-imagining “resilience” and related concepts. Lucy is presenting a poster that builds on her Master’s work on water access and water governance in Cape Town by relating it to water resilience.
