Andrea is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in the Geography Department at the University of California, Berkeley, where she is co-supervised by Professors Michael Watts, Jake Kosek, and Gillian Hart. Broadly speaking, Andrea’s research interests lie at the intersection of political economy, natural resource extraction, and land-based identities. For her doctoral research, Andrea is employing ethnographic and archival methods to explore the rise of cooperative mining in highland Bolivia. To learn more about her current research, click HERE.
