EDGES alum Taya Triffo, who completed her MA degree at the Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability earlier this year, has recently accepted a job as a network coordinator for ClimateWest. Congratulations, Taya! Taya grew up on Treaty 4 lands in the Canadian prairies, and she is excited to take on a new role back home as a network coordinator for ClimateWest. ClimateWest is a non-profit that coordinates climate services for the prairie provinces, including Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. As a network coordinator, Taya will be coordinating climate adaptation research projects, facilitating peer-learning workshops, and making prairie-based climate data more accessible for communities who are experiencing the impacts of climate change.
More information on ClimateWest and the work that Taya will be a part of can be found here.
